English Vinglish

It seems like a very - utterly predictable, yet charming little movie!
Speaking of charming, Sridevi looks fresh and pretty..but, her age shows in her face..think she was better looking before her nose job..and she would have looked younger and more attractive with her old nose:) Think she will be great in this role.

err? she had a bulbous nose. She was charming, even attractive but never gorgeous!

Her old nose was not the best part of her face (!), but imo, it was better than the odd one now!
Ok, leaving all this..white button down shirt for the summer-early fall..later in the fall and winter- black button down shirt! (Am sure you look lovely in both!)

We men don't look at or even care for a woman's nose. In fact, we never talk to women looking at their faces. That will be disrespect. We men always look "down" while talking to women - with respect.

Sure! Trailers do not often reflect the actual movies.
Nice to see that the movie has a woman movie director..who says she was inspired by her Mom. I actually thought about my mother..as soon as I saw the trailer..a younger version of my mother who lived in the US for three decades (still visits)..always wore/wears sarees- but, she is very fluent in English, was a Prof- and writes far better than I do..but, her persona in this movie..for some reason reminded me of some similarities..

I thought that she was a Tamilian..looked up Wiki, apparently she is..and was born in Virudhunagar (that was a little surprising and interesting!)
This is one of my fav songs of Kamal-Sridevi..never get tired of watching this with both of them! Wonder who translates tamil songs..someone who apparently loves to do it..as best as they can!

Thanks dear Impedimenta.
It's not always easy to be patient..and it is not something natural for me too. But, when I try to be patient with situations, and esp. people it has been worth it, for the most part. And it minimizes the emotional energy spent being angry and anxious.
However, there are always situations and people one can do nothing about! Just walking away, after trying and trying is some times necessary too.
