..Looks like this has galvanized the right and the left and everyone in between - putting aside the coalgate, Assam, middle east, etc....for awhile.

BJP on Saturday said implementation of FDI in multi-brand retail will make India a nation of "sales boys and sales girls" and it hoped to see the end of the UPA government on the issue.

Agree... look around... Why even the Brits and the Chinese don't allow Wal-Mart? India is a mom-and pop store country - a small business country than any other country. Look around...the Wal-marts around the US. What the BJP says is true to a large extent.

What and how much exactly is the country going to gain technologically and financially, and at what cost? The big business will support they have lost touch with the common man and the little traders.

JJ has said she will not allow any of these mega stores into TN. Perhaps, the BJP and commie ruled states might do the same. Let us see.
