Changes in next Tuesday's Pres debate
White house made a critical decision within the last hour. Pres Obama will call sick and send Biden to the debate.

Next week debate is a town hall type....
It is not one of back and forth speeches with rehearsals and prepared notes. The debaters can ramble on whatever they want to say irrespective of the moderator's question. This one will be a spontaneous one with (unexpected) questions from the audience. If a candidate tried to dodge a question it would be glaring and look bad. The one who tries to bullshyt with generalities and vagueness will be exposed. It is more about "connecting" with the crowd and look credible and trusting.
Obama or Minty....Let us see...

I liked the theatrical- "navarasa nayagan" - passionate performance of Joe in the "Joe Show"..wish I could see more of him too!
http://www.buzzfeed.com/gavon/the-many-gesticulations-of-joe-biden
And he clearly laid out the stark differences..between Republicans and Democrats..when it comes to so many issues.
Apart from all the issues and politics..from the faith perspective, esp. as a practicing Christian..can relate to his answer on "NOT imposing" personal faith on others..when it comes to deeply complex-difficult-personal challenges..
Funny and Hypocritical how the Republicans want less "Govt" ..and Paul Ryan says a "group of politicians"...will make this decision for women..I would have prayed and smirked a lot like him in pic #4 (above) too:)!
*It's all on the President now..he better elevate his game NOW.

Joe was snickering, mocking, condescending and that was his and Dems game plan all along. He was aggressive.
Joe succeeded with full marks in energizing dem supporters. Don't know what Pundits would call last night's debate result, but Joe succeeded in what he came for.

Yes. Nate Silver's analysis was that most of Obama's recent slide in the polls is accounted for by a fall in enthusiasm on his side, not because of a conversion of votes from him to Romney. If that is true, what Biden needed to do was to fire up the base, and he seems to have succeeded at that objectives.southindian wrote:Joe succeeded with full marks in energizing dem supporters. Yes, that's all Paul Ryan could do. Look good.
