Thanks Impy for the videos.

Question on the instruments.

Violin looks different? Electric Violin? or Mic attached to the violin? And it looks like the left half chopped off? (based on the first video).

And this keyboard looks so small? Is it used in the role of Harmonioum?

LOL! just chanced on this post of yours (been awfully preoccupied since after diwali) for i was going through all your posts right now to find your comment where you had mentioned being abused by an auto-reply in telugu when you were trying to call a friend in india. i could not find that post but i decided i had to reply to this post. i just got abused by the auto reply (a girl's voice) when i tried to call my son in b'lore. from the tone and incomprehensible kannadiga, i felt offended and, yes, i felt she was telling me to fuck off. but then the taped voice translated in english that the phone i was calling was busy. yet, i doubt if that was a faithful translation -- they can take us non kannadiga speakers for a ride and get away scot free. i think that is what happened. a similar thing had happened when i was in b'lore last. i stepped into the elevator and the recorded voice said, in english, "please shut the door firmly" and then, in kannadiga, "maa teri aankh ki." i swear i am not making this up!

anyway, i listened to all three of your recos. but you know which one i put on repeat mode. Smile l. shankar.
