i'm just surprized. i thought he was young and hot blooded maratha. just found out he was 80+ 
why would they call him wish sucha misleading name. and now he's dead.

Is he dead, dead or a fidel castro dead? i.e. not ready to leave, while everyone else wishing it, have left already or are about to.

Seven you mixing him up with his nephew Raj Thackeray it seems.
News say he is in critical condition. Anyways, this takes me back to a bet I had made with a classmate back in 1993 in wake of all the riots. He had said Thackeray can be killed, and I had said no one would dare. And he challenged it purely based on theory, while I was talking practically. Anyhoos, we made a bet of giving each other our watch if any one of us loses. If killed, friend wins. Natural death, I win. We were also secretly glad no one in shiv sena knows of such a bet. Heh.
Looks like it is time for me to go claim his watch. Ahem. Hope he is no longer a cheapo and is wearing a midlife crisis appropriate watch.

How old were you when you knew his age and now think he's of the same age.
Now add 25 years to his and your age. You still think that's not old?
