No wonder people from Himachal Pradesh join the army in large numbers as they are used to acts of manliness and killing . This has also helped to keep down the muslim population of Himachal Pradesh as they are cowed down by tough hindus .

Its not unique. Its done by Hindus outside of India too. Foe example in rural Tamil Nadsu. Goats, chicken are often sacrificed
