Issues noted, will work on them in the next couple of days. The theme changer is not working for me either. Will also change the logo on chat.

I could not figure out how to fix the Chrome multi-theme issue, so posted a request to Forumotion staff.
I have replaced the logo with a picture half the height.

it is an issue with the latest IE too. is "themes" a forumotion feature or chaikaapi? it might get fixed with the next upgrade of chrome.Idéfix wrote:I could not figure out how to fix the Chrome multi-theme issue, so posted a request to Forumotion staff.

How come I am unable to respond separately? Is there a glitch in this feature now or am I doing something wrong?

Re: Any admin requests?
It is not a standard Forumotion feature, but they provide a tutorial to make a few code changes so that it works. So it is like an advanced feature of Forumotion.Huzefa Kapasi wrote:it is an issue with the latest IE too. is "themes" a forumotion feature or chaikaapi? it might get fixed with the next upgrade of chrome.Idéfix wrote:I could not figure out how to fix the Chrome multi-theme issue, so posted a request to Forumotion staff.
It is possible that Chrome broke something in their recent upgrade and will fix it.

He is talking about the quoting feature. I can't quote outside in either Firefox or chrome.

Now the "reply with my quote" function is working. It wasn't when I was responding to M-B's short story post. Thanks anyways.

I see what you mean now. Looks like they have broken the quote feature in a new update. This affects all Forumotion forums, so I hope they fix it real quick.Hellsangel wrote:Idéfix wrote:Not sure what you mean...goodcitizn wrote:How come I am unable to respond separately? My guess is they were trying to fix the problem BW noticed -- additional spaces being introduced by the editor, and they screwed up with this.
While we wait for Forumotion to fix this, one temporary solution is to click on the last button in the row of buttons on top of the editor (called "Switch Editor Mode"). That gives you the raw code and you can start typing after the last

Switch editor mode and it will work ok. The editor will remember your setting. I plan to switch back once others confirm that it works for them.Huzefa Kapasi wrote:Idéfix wrote:Seems to be working for GC now! GC, what browser are you on?Huzefa Kapasi wrote:Hellsangel wrote:Idéfix wrote:

i would like bigger profile pictures displayed. at present, you need to be a detective in possession of a powerful lens to look at the pictures and figure out what it really is.

1) catches attention in the workplace;
2) distracts from the content.
Il Professore had a larger than life pic of his current avatar for a few days (owing to a glitch). that kombletely freaked us out.

distraction is a rather lame reason not to have bigger profile pics. the first reason in your post, however, has some merit.

As for the accusation of selfishness, I do not have the time to monitor this forum all the time. So I put in place a way to stop the frequent and flagrant violations of my privacy as a means of getting back at me for actions of other people beyond my control. That does not affect anyone else. Calling that out in detail would have made the method ineffective.

in terms of smartphones, you download emojis and add that to your keyboard. looks like the image below. Most whatsapps jokes are full of emojis. However, if I try to copy-paste those here, entire message after the first emoji gets wiped out. Depending on how many emojis are there and how badly I wanna share the joke, I either drop the idea of posting, or delete the emojis before posting.

I'm so glad! Those emojis are incredibly annoying and juvenile. I just don't get it why people , esp in India go crazy with them. Why does a simple happy birthday need to be cluttered with emojis of cake, flowers, smiley, thumbs up, and assorted others?
