but the comments on that forum are over the top. tamil movie star fans are crazy beyond belief.

It was sad to hear that. He sounds heavily medicated. Wonder if it has the opposite effect of calming down the fans.

One thing. A humble man - remains humble and treats everything else as just temporary and passing.

A simple food poisoning does not cause this much gastro and pulmonary problems or pulmonary edema.

If only had he not smoked for 40 years - I STRONGLY suspect everything is related to that, and perhaps, discovered too late.

While the particular problems he has now may have been discovered too late, I simply can't understand how people can continue to smoke given what we know about the ill effects of smoking. I am surprised that cigarettes are not banned outright as toxic substances. How are cigarettes any different from mercury or lead or asbestos in our food and surroundings?

Cigarette lobby is powerful and the industry has such giants as RJ Reynolds, Rothmans and ITC - which also runs numerous companies in food and related fields. People who smoke more and more today are the chinese, Indians, and Western/American women.

Money just does not talk, it also controls the power.
