among the major pain drivers for US middle class college costs and health care costs are at the top of the list.
US higher education sets the standard for the world. There are many good universities. However increasing cost is making it difficult even for well to do families. Young graduates are piling up huge debts.
Why? Is it reduction of state and federal funds? Is it wastage? Is it more money for research? Where is the money going?
we have been hearing about raising health care costs for more than a decade. Nothing improved. Premiums are still raising. Is it going to elderly treatment? What is the biggest problem?
together they cause immense hurt in middle class hearts.
what is your understanding of these costs?
