That was a really long review that read more like a book. Durbar should be an interesting read.

As per the review it is an interesting read if you prefer gossip over analysis. For instance it talks of an argument between Sonia and Menaka over dog biscuits and attributes this story to a friend of Sanjay Gandhi (who in turn may have heard it from someone else.)

Any analysis in the book is specious as per the reviewer.

key word is "as per the reviewer". He may be doing a hatchet job on behalf of some interested party. T singh is a frank and engaging writer.
