I'm in no mood to celebrate this year. I have done many midnight-crossing-over-to Jan-1.

Don't feel like doing it for her and children in CT.

Ayyo! Anyaayam! Her death shouldn't go in vain and ppl shouldn't forget either. Maybe stringent laws to punish the rapists, sexual offenders, etc and fast tracking those cases should be made (prolly in her name), just like we have Amber alerts and Meghan's laws here.

It is not surprising considering the details of the incident. A rusted iron rod was used in the incident causing serious internal injuries. It is a fit case for death punishment.

If her death results in a little change in laws, in policing, in political interference, and in people's attitude, it would do India some good. It is sad that India's progress to a better living standards society requires such incidents to make improvements.

Indian men, myself included, should hang our head in shame that such incidents happen.
