TN cops and their sense of humor
Stanley, a native of Tuticorin was studying Chemical Engineering. The name is real. He was quite intelligent. He always boasted about his frequenting of brothels on the weekends. One time, he and his friends were caught with some prostitutes in a lodge during a raid by the local cops.
Once the sub-inspector found out that they were students, he asked Stanley whether their hostel bill sent to their parents every month included the lodge expenses and the service fee for the hookers.
The cops let them go. They were looking for people consuming liquor and drugs.
