Indira Gandhi wanted to create a dynasty. And she foolishly held on to socialism. She also played political dirty tricks.

One thing about Indira Gandhi no one can question.

Her real love for India.

She was well aware that there were many Sikhs who wanted to finish her off.

Yet she did not fire her Sikh bodyguards because she did not want to discriminate. She thought they will be loyal to her.

In a way, she was naive.
