I once attended a lecture by a senior civil servant in which he spoke of the environment and about the anguish he experienced when he went to his home town and discovered that a tree on a and around which he had played in childhood had been chopped down. I felt similarly when after quite some time I typed http://forums.sulekha.com on the browser I use on my computer. I had spent so many years on this site, met so many people, learnt so many things.

I still can't understand why a well functioning site was put to sleep in the manner it was.
