Digvijaya says that both RSS and Taliban want to take people backwards to the 18th century. He may be right on this.

However, I wonder where he thinks his friend Vadra is taking India to.

The Taliban wants to take people back to 7th century.

The real difference is this. Most of the Hindus reject many silly ideas of RSS. And RSS does not kill the Hindus who phoo-phoo their fantasies.

But Taliban kills.

RSS wishes it had the vicious hold on the Hindus of India that the Taliban has on the Muslims of Pakistan and Afghanistan. They are different in terms of tactics, but their goals and aspirations are rather similar.

I agree with Sara on this. RSS and Taliban may have similarities but RSS won't do a Malala. Also, taliban cover their asses better. I wonder who discovered the chaddi - some policeman?
