We used to call it "Bhajana" and now they call it "Kirtan." And Kirtan seems to be catching up in American cities. Looks like it's just plan bhajan, but no exercises like Suryanamaskar, Devi NamasKar, or Yoga. See the Wasington Post story at the link.

They can easily introduce some of the yoga exercises into schools (like what they do in sports already). There is no need to call them yoga. The West has successfully done this in many other spheres of human activity (like logic, mathematics, medicine, astronomy, hygiene, philosophy, architecture, city planning, etc.).
