near heart attack
is what you get if you get paid weekly, and you see your week's pay go away in your cc bill payment that you had set up for the same day, leaving behind roughly 8 dollars.
rabba, make me win a lottery ticket, and don't get all technical asking me to BUY one first.

Why do you think the 8 dollars is left behind? To BUY lottery tickets. What else?

LOL. Dunno if it's a possible hope or an impossible one.

They were twins: Rubba and Bubba.
Rubba is the goodly unkil with white flowing beard, who sits in the clouds, beaming down kindly at Ms Bagchi's financial predicament.
Bubba is the evil twin, now a jailbird, eagerly awaiting fresh meat Headley's arrival (per Propa).

Re: near heart attack
Punjus say it too. And maybe sindhis as well. If you are a north Indian with enough exposure to Muslims/Punjus, this seem like an ok vocab. Very UPite SIL used to say it often and bro would be like, 'say Rama not rabba'. Anyhoos, I remember rabb when I also want to be dramatic. For small issues. Another common is 'hey Bhagwan' when praying. 'Hai Bhagwan' when protesting. When sorta happy in an embarrassing situation, you know, it's 'oh my god' or 'oh god' or just 'god', sometimes repeatedly.

Rabb/Rabba has become a common Bollywood word too. There are movies titles ('Rabb ne banaya jodi') and songs with rabb/rabba in them.

Something is always lost in translation.
