sarasangi is melakartha #27 sitting right between charukeshi (#26) and harikhamboji (#28). i think thus that it combines both the pathos of charukeshi and the majestic karuNa rasa of harikhamboji. you don't hear it too often in concerts. this RTP is beautiful.

the percussion support act on the panthuvarali is fantastic. very understated when they need to be and explosive at the end.
