Atleast his acting is convincing enough to tug at people's purse strings. There is a beggar at the train station here who just stands there all day with his (rather well fed) cat on his shoulder holding up a sign which says "anything will help". He is young and seemingly able bodied given that he can stand all day, which is a lot of work. I wonder why he doesn't take up real work. Maybe he has a conviction and won't pass a background check for any job.
