Markji at his best!
PS: If Markji went crazy at any specific moment, that moment was before he became a public figure.

Re: Has Katju gone Crazy?...
Nothing to do with Katju, but honestly, in all reams and reams written about the SC judgement yesterday, I didn't find a single voice asking what took the courts 20 years to arrive at a verdict. Which civilized country takes two decades to decide guilt in a terrorist attack that killed so many??
Our SC is so quick to poke its nose into the affairs of the executive, challenging policies and giving its opinions on how the country has to be run. How about some introspection on its own atrocious functioning? Haven't any of the learned justices heard of the old saying: justice delayed is justice denied??

Are you kidding....this is a vast improvement in that a major case has been decided in our lifetime.
Limit no more than 2 postponements for each side in any case and the postponement should be limited to less than 2 weeks.

Re: Has Katju gone Crazy?...
Law Minister says Governor can pardon which appears to the path out for Sanjay Dutt. 250 crore rupees and more riding on Sanjay Dutt's movies and 10% spread of wealth can help him.
Governor gets the money, no fear of elections, politicians blame Governor, Governor resigns or temp retire for some time, goes to Vaishno Devi or Thirupati pilgrimage, back on another plum job in 6 to 8 months.
Money rules.
