It primarily depends on what one eats. if one has this problem, review what goes into the mouth and find out by process of elimination. Some foods are well known as Fart-agents and in individual cases, a simple self-investigation can solve this problem for most part.

P.S. dont think it is only a male problem. Women are equally vulnerable but are often quiet - but the decibel level will catch up with them and embarrass /shock them at worst situations.

I think the GOI should mandate that all the movies have scenes of heros and heroines farting every 10 minutes. This will bring in a dose of reality.

Imagine if people see SRK, Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai passing gas during song and dance sequence then there won't be any more craze about these guys.
