i think i posted that particular youtube video here some time ago. it's interesting and commendable that the great ustad of kirana gharana was curious about CM. he learnt a few krithis from brindamma i think. but his singing of this karaharapriya krithi did nothing for me.

:-) i don't think it will anything for anyone else either:-) it was pretty bad, i thought, especially after hearing sriram's rendition:-) it seems he learnt it from Veena Dhanammal.

yes dhanammal (brinda's grandmother), not brinda.
