Do you support a Congress led govt or BJP led govt to govern India?

Congress ruled states cannot provide good governance. It is simply because the guys who rule the states are beholden to the Sonia Gandhi family. The leaders at state level who belong to the Sonia Gandhi party has to get her blessings for every decision they make.

Modi should quit the BJP and start his own party in Gujarat. He does not have to become the PM. He should tell the Gujaratis that they should not vote for his party once he is dead or becomes invalid. This model should be replicated in all the states.

Just as any CM in a congress governed state has to be on good terms with the Gandhi family, so any state in a BJP ruled state has to be on good terms with the RSS. The RSS decides who will be the President of the BJP.

I prefer Congress to BJP because I find the idea of communal riots abhorrent. The perpetrators of the 1984 riots are dead or have been sidelined by the Congress, while the perpetrators of the 2002 riots seem to be going from strength to strength.

Among those held to be involved in the 1984 riots, HKL Bhagat of the Congress is dead. He had been sidelined by the Congress for many years prior to his death.

The Congress sidelines leaders involved in riots while the BJP seems to give such leaders more powers.

other leaders implicated in the 1984 riots who were subsequently sidelined by the Congress include Sajjan Kumar and Jagidsh Tytler. But the BJP made Maya Kodnani (who is now in jail) a minister in the Gujarat govt even though she had a direct hand in the Gujarat riots.
