Well, you'd have to be single, not married to get easy breeding money. Or your husband would have to be unemployed/incarcerated. Do you want a man without a job or in prison? Finally, Clinton made welfare temporary, so you would need to keep having babies to extend your benefits indefinitely. Do you want to become a baby-making factory? Think of the effect that would have on your body and health.

I see. Looks like these people are suffering and are way below in the social chain. So, unfair to get miffed about them using tax payers money.

Hey that thought was like an instant gratification...thanks for bursting it. Why don't you just let him know that you are moving out for an extended period of time? Looks like he is very comfy over that place and it will take more time and pace for him to think out of his comfort zone.

I understand being sympathetic about their poverty, lack of education, and limited choices when it comes to employment. However, I'm not very sympathetic when one woman goes out and has six to ten kids. That is just plain ridiculous. The government should not be giving them benefits based on the number of kids they have. Maybe benefits could be based on the number of hours they show up to do some kind of volunteer work. Or based on the number of kids they DON'T have. Or give companies tax breaks, so that they start operations in your part of the country.

When you take their land and make them illegal’s this is what happens. History and dharma/karma repeats itself. I am a desi weakling woman and I don't think I will survive another pregnancy. If I were a Hispanic, things would’ve been different.

This is not just a Hispanic problem. It's a white problem. It's a black problem. It's an Asian problem...I have seen legal Vietnamese and Cambodian immigrants having kid after kid after kid, collecting federal and state benefits, selling food stamps to get cash, so that they can get money to buy cigarettes and alcohol. In this very town. My nail tech has had three kids in three years with the same man but remains unmarried to get free housing, food stamps, and healthcare. He sells some of these food stamps to get cash for gambling in Vegas. Can you imagine selling government given food stamps to pay for an entire trip to Vegas???
My ancestors didn't take any land from anyone. I don't want my kids and grand kids to be born in a country that goes from a First World superpower to a Third World socialist cesspool of moochers. It's going to happen though, whether we like it or not.

This is getting boring. Write a firebrand thread dissing all Suchers. I need to be awakened from deep sleep induced from back to back meetings that I am not even paying attention to. PN is doing a good job lately but we need to be reminded who is the boss here.

Nonsense. You can have as many babies as you like until menopause, and then some more with IVF.

So I am single. My XH is absconding. Now all I need is an ovulatory cycle. And as soon as I find a disease free about-to-be-convicted baby daddy, I am in business!

You need an ovulation cycle? Forgive my nosiness, but does that mean you're either menopausal or perimenopausal?

May be u can change the system by running for a governor/something similar in that town? You seem to have real considerations and the required political fire in you. Think about it. Perhaps you can be the first SI Woman yada yada….

Small towns are good old boy networks. The mayor of this town's father was mayor of this town, as was his grandfather. Same thing with the sherriff, hospital administrator, chief of prisons, judge, and district attorney. No outsider coming in is likely to get votes, let alone a job, unless he or she starts his or her own business, like the Asian nail salon owners or the Indian motel and gas station owners and doctors. At the very least, you need to have attended high school here to apply for and get a job or get votes, although people will prefer that your family is from here for generations.
People don't even put help wanted ads in newspapers. They advertise in their church. It's all about who you know. I think who you know matters anywhere but more so in a small town.

What you say is quite interesting..in the sense, even in small towns..there are so many Hispanic immigrants-large families..and their population is growing so fast- it's highly visible!
It's amusing to see- even in the deep South..whites and blacks trying so hard to work with them-deal with it as best as possible (with Southern hospitality- at least publicly!)..the stores carry so many mexican food products..restaurants serving Mexican food..all the restaurants -Southern, Soul, Chinese, Indian..hiring the chefs and workers who are hispanic..obviously because they pay them less than "locals"..it's more competitive to get even the minimum-wage jobs..and without public transportation..how can the locals drive to find jobs- with health insurance?
The ERs, Health Depts are overcrowded with Hispanic patients..more than poor White and Black patients..but, everyone trying to take it in stride..with translators, being coached to speak in Spanish etc!
*As an immigrant..do have mixed feelings about it..
Wow! Did someone hack into Maria's handle. You See maria, it is also known as wonderful CAPITALISM. I will let Saamiyaar explain in detail.
