btw do you guys remember someone called "blue hyacinth?" she once told us that she lived on a dollar a day, right here in america. it always made me laugh, but now i'm wondering if perhaps she was stating the truth.
i generally end up spending 10-12 bucks a meal, unless i eat in my workplace, where each meal costs about 8 bucks. breakfast is about 5 bucks wherever i go. in a way it's good that i can't tolerate coffee well, i might have a latte once every 3 or 4 weeks. i guess people who are addicted to coffee tend to have high costs. my costs come from smoothies and juices and desserts. on average they cost 5 to 7 bucks per item.

but i've decided i'm going to make omlettes myself every day starting july. whenever i try to make an omlette in my current apartment, the smoke alarm goes off and my next door neighbors pop in to ask me if everything is okay and that's kind of embarrassing, so i don't cook. i can't fix the alarm cuz it's on the ceiling.

thank god, i don't have a car, that's one less thing to worry about.

Do you have a budget? Have you started thinking about financial planning?
