I am sorry to say I have to disagree with you. She is a Pakistani, and we all know Pakistan is a screwed up country that ethnically cleansed its minorities, precisely because of its warped Islamic education system. The question is what kind of education is given. The right kind of education can actually create Muslims who form the bulk of Turkish Armed forces, who dislike and Oppose Political Islam.

it is very unfortunate that Indian Political Islamist Muslim leadership is taking the Path of medieval Pakistanis in matters of education and not the path that Turkey took(though even there it is unraveling now). India should focus on educating its Muslims in a proper manner and regulate the Madrassa content. If the Brigadier means stopping Madrassa education, that is the right thing to do, since there is no case for segregating children in education. The Indian Muslim Political Islamist leadership are inherently promoting segregation even from a young age and that is NOT good for Indian nationalism/unity of future. Just imagine somebody being exposed to a alien education system that is completely different from what you and I studied. They have a world view that is completely different, when they finish high school. They are as alien to main stream India as Pakistanis are to Indians.

Nobody in India is addressing the question of preventing Political Islamic doctrine from being taught to Muslims in Madrassas. This doctrine was the chief cause of Partition and another one is brewing on the horizon if this is not addressed. What is the Indian Muslim leadership doing to prevent, Muslims thinking like Maldivians or Pakistanis or BNP of Bangladesh? No answer. That is very worrying. Media does not debate this, looks the other way when incidents that mirror political Islamic ideology (and thus inherently against the constitution) happen in parts of India. The media is doing a great disservice to India, by not covering these aspects.
