A simple rule of thumb to distinguish a group of thugs from a politically active group

There is a simple rule of thumb to distinguish these thugs from a politically active group: what's the proportion of women that were part of the group? If it's small and negligible, that's just drunk thugs. The PMK, under this rule, is a group of thugs.

Nothing prevents you from giving your views...on the definition of Thugs.

It was just a comment posted by someone on the link about the vanniar caste thugs. I thought it made a lot of sense.
