Excerpts
What China did was to impudently violate border-peace agreements with India by employing coercive power on the ground. Then — armed with the leverage from its encroachment into the Debsang plateau — it embarked on coercive diplomacy by setting out military demands for India to meet.
In doing so, it presented India with a Hobson's choice: either endure the Chinese ingress into a region controlling key access routes or meet China's demands at the cost of irremediably weakening Indian military interest in a wider strategic belt extending up to the Karakoram Pass and the Siachen Glacier. After a three-week standoff, China withdrew from the occupied spot but only after India blinked by ceding some ground — an action it has tried to rationalise as granting China a "necessary face saver".
Excerpts-2
In forcing Indian troops to start demolishing bunkers before officially terminating the stand-off and softening up India for further bargaining, China has vindicated its coercive diplomacy while rendering India more vulnerable to Chinese military maneuvers and raids. The razing of bunkers has already forced Indian troops to suspend patrolling up to the LAC in the Chumar area, a development that threatens to whittle down Indian salience in a critical border region while opening space for China to expand its sovereignty claims.

Re: China scores Bloodless Victory over India
Looks like quiet diplomacy that foreign minister Salman Khursheed is talking about, involves quietly accepting unjustified demands and bullying by the Chinese, not letting our Army respond in Kind and forcing our Army to remove fortifications it had made at strategic points to monitor the Chinese.
Wonder what Chinese would have done, if Indian PM had a scheduled visit to China and days before their FM was supposed to arrive for a visit if Army had intruded into China 19Km and setup tents ?
When a similar thing had happened during Gen Sundarji's (I think it was him , not 100% sure) term, he just responded to the Chinese in Kind.

Excerpts.
India is ruled by people with the mindset of Maulana Merlot, Rashmunullah, idefix who always assume the other side could hurt us even more and blowing up the losses to India in case of an aggressive stance (forget about a war). Note that the Govt will always portray bigger losses for India no matter what.

Haha..criticism of the Indian government's timidity wrt China is very valid, but it rings hollow coming from you - a chickenhawkish limpwristed-chaddi who won't step out after 8pm fearing rape by Muslims.

china is making inroads into India's southern flank also. It is in negotiations to operate an FM station in Tamil Nadu.
