i see nothing wrong in this statement. all he wants to say is that he is a party worker and ready, eager and able to do any work that his party leader tells him to do. what's wrong in sweeping the floors of his office? 

this is no different than a cricketer showing his readiness to field anywhere, bat at any position or bowl to any batsman.
