I had issued a challenge to Indian gov to allow me to contest for TN assembly from Rameswaram. I will garner over 90% votes against anybody who oppose me.
Why did India refuse to allow me to contest?

Why did India refuse to allow me to contest?
because you are a US citizen and by definition not an indian citizen.

Max,
You must have bad memory. I had posted here at least twice that my attempt to contest TN Assembly election was before coming to US. I was proihibited from contesting because I struck out the statement that I would respect the unity of India before signing my application.
This statement was added after the Indian constitution was amended in 1963 (16th amewndment) that all who contests elections must swear that they would uphold the unity of India. I refused to sign such a statement.
