I on behalf of my fellow liberals welcome this development as it's another facet of majority expressing themselves in a democracy. in the past only mubarak and his henchmen were allowed to rape, depriving muslim brotherhood & salafists, the coptics etc of their inalienable rights. now there is change, you glass hand empty types with your constant doubts not withstanding.

Let's see what would a republican president have done..

1. Pull another WMD stunt
2. Send American troops over
3. So they could do their share of deeds (raping women)
4. Spend another trillion or so dollars.
5. When all fails, relabel the war as Operation Freedom-Democracy-Upliftment-evertyhingunderthesun.
6 Instill Hanky-Panky democracy
6. Blame Al-Qaeda and other terrorist outfits for the debacle of a democracy.

Bwahaha...yeah, nobody said that change is quick or easy. The path to liberty is a long and torturous one. Egyptian women should set aside their petty little complaints and contemplate instead on what bliss it felt that dawn to be alive at Tahrir square, and of the seminal role they played in ushering in a new era in the history of Egypt.
