Ours took about 6 years if I remember right. What vegetables do you have growing?

growing - tomatoes, summer squash and okra
trying to peek:-) - eggplants
struggling - cucumbers, corn and pepper

I just found out that corn requires more space and a "different" kind of soil texture.

I am also an avid gardener. Don't bother with corn. You groan when ultimately the plant matures into useless cobs of corns. Better to get them when you grocery shop. Seems like you have nice assortment. No green peppers or chili peppers? Try brussel sprouts next year, if you like them. Easy to grow.

i am not an avid gardener. in fact, i think i have a black thumb:-) but this is an activity i enjoyed doing with my daughter. We worked very hard on this vegetable patch and feel happy to see results. simple, right? :-)

Will try brussel sprouts.

How about curry leaves and drumstick? Can they grow in your conditions?

I started gardening with enthu but most of the time the neighbors give their grown tomatoes, garlic, lemons, oranges, plums and we get yummy vegetables at farmers market.

I grow tomatoes, thai pepper, okra, eggplant and snow peas. But, tastes nothing like the stuff from farmers market. Had a curry leaves plant, but took it away.
