[justify][color=#333333]రెండున్నర ఏళ్ళ క్రితం, టాంకుబండుపై విగ్రహాలను ధ్వంసం చేసినప్పుడు విషాదంగా రాసుకున్న గేయం ఇది. బ్లాగులో ప్రచురించడానికి కూడా మనసొప్పలేదు. కొన్ని మార్పులతో ఇప్పుడు ప్రచురిస్తున్నాను. నేపథ్యం చెప్పనక్కరలేదు కదా.[/color][/justify]

కడుపులో కంగారు, కను చూపులో అరుణ

I should ask I question that bothers me whenever I hear the original song. Who is the Mallamma whose pati-bhakti is praised in the original song? bhuja-shakti, dhIyukti, and kIrti are all still things to be praised, but isn't extolling pati-bhakti male-chauvinistic and therefore passe?

*ahem* Over the years that morphed into Mallayya patni-bhakti. We just need to amend that line constitutionally, this might be the good time to do that along with other needed tweaks.
