madhuri dixit has an insipid face. i always thought of this woman's looks as far more interesting. i like the white sari, but it would have been nicer if she has worn a plain blouse of the same shade without all those patterns.

She looks more like a modern heroine in these pics. She was a little fat by today's standards in her movies, e.g., Chaltika naam gaadi, Mughal-e-Azam.

Re: For all the Madhubala Fans
I agree. she was fat but had a beautiful face. i think in those days people found a lil over weight women beautiful. she doesnt have pretty hands and feet just like Genelia. she has a pretty face but bad feet and not so pretty hands.
i havent seen chalti ka naam gadi but i find her super beautiful in mugal e azam.

Re: For all the Madhubala Fans
No doubt Madhubala was a eternal beauty of India cinema...but i bet she could have never performed like Madhuri Dixit who was a delight to watch on screen

oh, i just watched those mughal-e-azam clips: madhuri dixit is a far better dancer and actress, there is just no comparison. i loved how all of them have prematurely orange hair. good stuff. also, keep up the praise for medicore performances from muslim actors, it's good for communal harmony.

Very afghani in her looks. Rather heavyset. She looks better in the movies.

one thing muslims are good at is entertaining others. i dont agree with you, muslim actors are not mediocre.you are however right about one thing, there is no comparison between madhubala and madhuri dixit. they are from different times. so ur one is far better dancer than another is pointless. i dont understand ur orange hair comment.

valuable lesson learned- don't take movie advice from guys haha...i remember watching this movie on the big screen. i was so mesmerized by the sets and the dances...everyone dancing in synchrony for as far as u could see behind MD and aish and everything was so beautiful. As much as other people criticize the movie and srk I loved it! everything about it.
