GANDHINAGAR/PATNA: Congress leader from Bihar SadhuYadav, who is also the brother-in-law of RashtriyaJanataDal chief Lalu Prasad, on Friday met Gujarat chief minister NarendraModi at his office, triggering speculation about whether he was joining the BJP to electorally hurt Lalu in Bihar.
 
 
The meeting between Sadhu, whose real name is Anirudh Prasad, and Modi, lasted about 45 minutes. ​After meeting, Yadav said that Narendra Modi can be a better PM than Rahul Gandhi. He also told the media that the meeting was just a courtesy call.
 
Yadav was accompanied by another Bihar Congress leader, Desai Chaudhary. Yadav and Modi are learnt to have discussed Bihar politics.....................

CONmen are hoping that Nitish will side with them. Asa CM Nitish was/is better than Laloo and CONcrass can gain more with Nitish. Very likely to happen. EVen if Nitish goes alone, he may support UPA from outside only if Laloo is not part of UPA equation. Laloo must have sensed this and perhaps hobnobbing with the BJP. TN is the only place where neither CONcrass nor BJP is needed. Whoever wins TN will bargain and hold influence at the center - whoever wins the center.

I am seriously impressed with Thamizh politicians.

It looks like the Center / Congress does need Lalu Yadav anymore. Yes, the TN politicians carry much weight at the center
