Then why did he not retire a couple of years ago and let Rahul be the PM?
Why wait till 2014?

I think ToI applied the FoS Principle (Freedom of Speech).

It is a shame - utter shame - when a sitting PM says he will work under another "MP" Never ever heard this from any PM of any country.

Ramachandra Guha was right when he said MMS feels so obligated to Sonia Gandhi for making him the PM.

....Most shameful headline ever for a PM...

He is supposed to L E A D the country...not serving this person or that person.

Either Lead, follow, or get out of the way...Prof. MMS.

Will the Prof... list five reasons why Rahul Gandhi is an "IDEAL CHOICE?"

Was this how he taught as a Professor without giving reasons, proof, analysis or anything for declaration of theorem, concepts or principles?

Bhagat Singh and all the 10 gurus are must be crying in the heaven.

Sonia and mms found an interesting dynamic of democracy. They make these statements in controlled forums with psychopants applauding. Then they become unavailable to explain or comment or answer any consequences or questions.
The media can respond to that statement any way they want but Sonia and mms do not respond. The issue dies after few days but opinion is out there to appease the small section that it supposed to serve.
Mms did not respond to coalgate even in parliament. Instead of taking responsibility for missing files as head of ministry and govt, he said he is not the guardian of the files.
What an irresponsible answer?
In a really working democracy that would have finished any prime minister.

Manmohan Singh didn't say no such thing.  It was Sonia Gandhi.  She had inserted her hand all the way from his anus into his head.  Her thumb was moving his lower jaw and the four fingers were used to bob his head up and down.  If you pay attention, you can see her using ventriloquism.

This is such a serious issue...and all you have is "hahahaha about the Pants?" This is very similar to Flimmaraja Iyer finding typos on any serious issue against the Gandhi family - and we all know why he does that.

i am no fan of the dynasty. i have already said rahul gandhi is a moron. but it is the opposition's impotence that they have not articulated a credible alternative economic policy and equally importantly, a worthy leader. all they have done is play on the religious majority's insecurities and fears. the best they could manage is a deeply flawed and divisive chief minister. whose fault is that?

The point here is about PM's statement of his readiness to work under Rahul who is an inexperiecned MP.

Yes we have to make do with what we have. But this Chief Minister with  years of development,  and an ability to unify 80% of the population (everybody who does not belong to a Offensive Monotheistic religion) across caste, communities, Languages in India, is way better than a Moron.
