While Pitchaikannan, the prime accused, stabbed the principal in his stomach, his room-mates, G. Danish (21), final year B.Tech. (Information Technology) and M. Prabhakaran (21), third year (Civil Engineering), said to be his room-mates, caused a grievous bleeding injury on his head, the police said. Besides arresting the trio, the police seized the weapons used in the killing.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Pitchaikannan was suspended for five days on Monday following an alleged attack on Athithan, a final year student, over occupying a seat in a bus on October 5. Athithan was attacked on the college premises and outside the campus recently. Pitchaikannan was also irregular in attending classes and laboratory work.
Agitated by the disciplinary measure, Pitchaikannan and his room-mates attacked Dr. Suresh at 8.20 a.m. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

These fellows should learn from those Tamil brahmins who still practice the tradition of meditating, chanting gayatri mantra etc. That will attenuate all the aggressive behavior. And you will stay out of trouble.

More than thirty years ago, there was one TN brahmin guy who lived a block from my home. He used to wear chappel and veshti  wherever he went, even to his work place. He had half shaven head with a tuft. Very gentle. He did sandhyavandhanam every day and you always see him in the temple in the evenings. He did M.Sc in mathematics and did research at the Mathematical sciences institute in Madras. He never bothered anyone.  Everyone respected him.
