That was an article from your manifest aka WaPo. Hackers? Why? They need 7 million subscribers by March to make it sustainable.confuzzled dude wrote:Why? are teabaggers planning to hire Chinese hackers.
PS: Everyone forgets that one of the biggest drains on ERs - illegals, are not covered by Obamacare.

I don't know about Chinese hackers - but according to a comment under that article. This was the firm that built the website:

A better choice than Foxes & Limbaughs of the world, isn't it? hackers to make sure that system won't be usable.Hellsangel wrote:That was an article from your manifest aka WaPo. Hackers? Why? That article says they were 7 million visitors in two days, at this rate it shouldn't be an issue unless most of those visitors were Chinese hackers hired by Tea Part(tions)

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/10/11/wonkbook-the-shutdown-is-a-total-disaster-for-the-gop/
"Thursday's Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll hit the Republican Party like a bomb.
It found, as Gallup had, the Republican Party (and, separately, the Tea Party) at "all-time lows in the history of the poll." It found Republicans taking more blame for the shutdown than they had in 1995. It found more Americans believing the shutdown is a serious problem than in 1995.
Even worse for the GOP is what the pollsters called "the Boomerang Effect": Both President Obama and Obamacare are more popular than they were a month ago. Obamacare in particular gained seven points. (More poll highlights here, full results here.) "

Re: A trickle
If the GOP truly believed that people won't sign up for Obamacare and it will fail due to lack of enrollment, they wouldn't have destroyed their political capital over defunding it. Now that they have completely bungled it, I suppose this is something for the conservatives to feel good about.Hellsangel wrote:I don't know about Chinese hackers - but according to a comment under that article.
