Re: Sikh Groups stage protest against Narendra Modi
Recently I heard on TV (from a Punjabi) about a book written by a Sikh about the atrocities against Sikhs in 1984 and that book getting the support / sympathy from some SIs (TNers).
Re: Sikh Groups stage protest against Narendra Modi
Rubbish! Under NDA, Sikhs have done well. In fact, ABV fostered the Sikh culture. If Sikhs have any issues, they are with CONmen who used them when they needed and killed them off when they turned against CONlady Indira who attacked their religious shrine.
CONgames of dividing people for vote bank politics won't succeed this time even with Muslims and Dalits. Since sardarji MMS won't be the next CONman PM candidate, don't expect Sikhs to vote for CONartists in 2014. Useless Pappu is better of to look for a suitable job - a municipal clerk.

Re: Sikh Groups stage protest against Narendra Modi
the sikhs are protesting because Narendra Modi is asking them to hand over their farming/agricultural land to the govt. He says only Gujaratis can own farming/agricultural land. The land taken from the Sikhs will be handed over to the big industrialists like Adani, etc.. Kind of like the land given to Tatas for the Tata Nano factory. Sikhs are saying they have been farming on the land for more than 50 years and how can they be kicked out now against their will.Vakavaka Pakapaka wrote:Rubbish! Under NDA, Sikhs have done well. India doesn't allow non-Indians to own agricultural land. If you understand why India does that, you will understand why Gujrat is trying to do a similar thing. The number of Sikhs in Gujrat who cultivate agricultural land is small. Gujrat is becoming industrialized (like TN). Soon, when Telangana creates problems with river water, coastal Andhra will follow along the same path. That is called innovation and building the economy along realistic lines.Rashmun wrote:the sikhs are protesting because Narendra Modi is asking them to hand over their farming/agricultural land to the govt. The reality is this. Some 40 years ago, if you go to rural India, their priorities were food, shelter, clothing and government handouts. So, CONmen devised policies to suit those needs and in the process gained their votes and also made black money through corrupt practices. Now, almost every household in rural India has a TV and many have computers. So, they are connected to the world and to the knowledge base, expanding their horizons, opportunities and priorities. The average rural family is no longer satisfied sending their kids to the local govt. school. They want to send them to private and English medium schools. Those kids quickly learn that a good education changes their whole outlook. That has an impact on the families. In my village, we have some Shiia Muslims. A few came to me a couple of years ago when I visited the place, and wanted to know how to go about applying for jobs in UAE, S Arabia, etc. They know that those countries are majority Sunni and that they may be persecuted. Still they are willing to go and make some money. So, the priorities of rural people have changed. Will they be satisfied with CONgames and money handouts just before elections? So far, CONmen have been smug thinking that the middle class is insignificant electorally. Thanks to PVN, India's middle class has expanded, contributed to expanding the economy and, in the process, made the average Indian highly motivated towards getting a good education, building wealth and becoming politically aware. The enemy of MT and her CONmen is progress. CONartists can't turn the clock back. India's economy is linked to the international economy and just by giving handouts to the poor without building the wealth won't be possible. Soon, the CONgame will be checkmated. Marie Antoinette and Chauchesku will be better off to avoid being hanged by the common man in front of the parliament! MMS who was a chamcha of PVN, has become a super chamcha of MT. He should just quit.

The sikh farmers who have been farming in Gujarat for more than 50 years are now being kicked out of Gujarat by Narendra Modi. They will be deprived of the means to earn an honest livelihood. Re: Sikh Groups stage protest against Narendra Modi
Here are other indications that CONs are a dying breed.
Indira attacked the Sikh shrine and her crusaders butchered Sikhs in 1984. So, Sikhs, who used to support CONmen were alienated. They won't vote for them any more.
Read history and find why TN doesn't vote for CONmen any more. In case you are wondering how Chidambaram got elected - he cheated. He was not really elected (nor is he popular in TN).
How did CONmen lose their hold in your state of UP and in Bihar? How did UP bhaiyyas and Biharis become BIMARUs? The causes are not difficult to understand.
Just to make Pappu the PM, MT bites the Andhra hand that helped CONmen form the central govt, in 2004 and 2009. Just like the Sikhs, Andhras are upset with her CONartistry. They won't vote for IndiraCONgress.
Hope, you are seeing the trend.

Let me put it another way - Gujju Sardarjis should move the clock past 12 and they will not face any Sardarji jokes and be called very innovative. CONs have been robbing the middle class of the wealth they have been building for India by depositing all that money in vote-banks and in Swiss banks. Must the middle class sit and sob? They should kick the CONmen where it hurts most - work hard, educate the vote-banks that CONartists are crooks and vote for someone else. In Delhi, looks like that is what they are going to do. DickShit may lose in the election.

so what exactly do you want the Sikh farmers of Gujarat, who have been deprived of their land by Narendra Modi, to do now? How do they go about earning their livelihood? In today's innovation economy, agriculture is oh-so 16th century and so out of place. What rural India really needs is English medium education. If we build enough callcenters and thereby integrate into the global economy, we can always import foodgrains from whoever is dumb enough to still engage in those primitive occupations. If India Shining is to become a Singapore, we should start thinking like the Singaporeans.Vakavaka Pakapaka wrote:India doesn't allow non-Indians to own agricultural land.
Enough of all that Nehruvian pinko nonsense practised by CONgoons as a front for making black money. Those Sikh farmers should sell their land to the highest bidder, trade in their farm machinery for some ferraris and fulfill their self actualization. Instead, they are protesting against ourSupreme LeaderGod. Clearly those 12 o'clock sardarjis just don't know what is good for them. They must be CONgoons pretending to be farmers. But we shall not be stopped by these petty voices. Our hour has come. Toilet wahin banayenge. Jai Shri Ram. Om NaMo Namaha.
Incidentally, the woman in my video, who challenged a man to come and fight, sent her son to a private school in the nearby town. He is now in NJ working as a code coolie. He built her a nice home with all facilities. She contested in the panchayat election (but didn't win). Others in the village now seek her advice. May be I should make another video of her and show my kids.

Oh, BTW, can you name ONE non-white, DEMOCRATIC, non-agro country that is considered an "Advanced" country since 16th century.Merlot Daruwala wrote:

Here is a little hint: India will never advance to the next higher level without agriculture. The whites rule the world economy and wealth and is centered around them. China is chellenging thembc it still has a strong agriculture. Japan still is staying at the top despite having no oil - bcz it still has agriculture.
The day India gives up on agriculture it will be forced to hold a begging bowl within 3 to 5 years (failure of 2 consecutive monsoons will do it). Agriculture and food for people will compete with oil for the current account deficit. The US, West, IMF will screw the Indian economy and advancement within 3 to 5 years.
You are suffering from having the typical upper middle class code coolie D/O (even if you work in investment banking it is just what it is), you, your world, city world.

Upps Aunty, I was poking fun of Vakavaka Unkil's "India Shining" attitude towards farmers and agriculture. But I guess sarcasm is too complex a concept for some people. But that's ok. I'll remember to stick to plain namecalling when I'm talking to you.Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:Oh, BTW, can you name ONE non-white, DEMOCRATIC, non-agro country that is considered an "Advanced" country since 16th century.Merlot Daruwala wrote:
