The panel comprises of three outstanding commentators: Nilanjan Mukhopadhya ( who has written an excellent biography of Modi), Aakar Patel who has written extensively on Modi in newspaper and magazine articles, and Abhay Dubey who is a respected name in Hindi journalism. The other two panelists are a BJP representative and a Cong representative.

If you wish to know the difference between shudha Hindi ( aka sanskritised Hindi ) and Hindustani you should pay attention to the spokesmen of BJP and Cong. The Cong spokesperson is a Gujarati and is speaking in Hindustani. The BJP spokesperson is probably from UP ( his surname is a common surname of UP Brahmins). The common man of UP speaks Hindustani--at least in the cities and small towns.
