Too long at almost 3 hours. Tolkien puritans are probably fuming at the changes and new characters. Nevertheless a visual treat in IMAX 3D. Benedict Cumberbatch's voice is marvelous as always.

too long, rather boring and repetitive. for how long can one watch orcs grunting!

i liked #1 more and so did everyone else. of course, IMAX 3D made stunning visuals but need more than that to survive 160 minutes. 

dragon was a bore too.
