India is also over-reacting to this. Meera, Shinde, Pappu, all are refusing to meet the US delegation. It's interesting that all these clowns were giggling when the US said it wouldn't grant a visa to Modi (thart he didn't even apply for, apparently). What happened to India's pride then?

Upps Aunty, stop wishing your sorry fate on the country at large. We're very sorry that you were abused by all. But please don't imagine that the detention of an errant Indian consular official amounts to humiliating India. It doesn't. Not any more than the prosecution of some French consular official in Bangalore over suspected child abuse amounted to humiliating France.

PS: Have you seen a counsellor lately? You do seem more overwrought than usual.
