He is only supporting the present system in India, which allows the official use of communal laws to various sections of society. Khap panchayat laws have the same kind of justification in the country as do the communal / religious laws for other communities under the Constituition.

It seems people probably have no choice except accepting such ridiculous decisions by the Supreme Court.

There is only one way for Supreme Court to declare and make the Khap Panchayat laws unacceptable, and that will be only when there is only one law for all (UCC, irrespective of religion, race, gender and caste).
