Birth Control at CVS and Walgreens Empty Birth Control at CVS and Walgreens

Why is the Pill so expensive at CVS and Walgreens? DH and I were on vacation last week and I forgot to take birth control with me. So, we got there and I had to make an emergency run to CVS and was horrified to discover it was $25 for 10 pills. Who pays $2.50 for one pill? Usually, I get them at Target for $9 for 60 pills which is effectively 15 cents a pill. I've never used my insurance card because it's so cheap at Target. I've heard Walmart is cheaper than that but I won't enter a Walmart.

Luckily, I had my insurance card with me, so it was free at CVS.

Target has them on a reduced price list. Walgren and CVS have a different type of annual discount program.

You are HORRIFIED that a $9 disk was selling at $25 ??? Then what is wrong if food stampies try to get something at the lowest cost to them - for ZERO?

The ones on the dole are having multiple babies to get food stamps. Then they sell the food to get cash to buy drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, luxury items. They send their kids to bed hungry. When the children's services intervenes and takes those kids away, they promptly make new babies to keep their government checks coming in.

My husband works hard and had a ton of debt through most of his early forties.
