In Kanpur the Congress candidate and sitting MP Jaiswal was winning. But Kanpur is where the BJP stalwart MM Joshi is contesting from. So the next thing I hear after the news that Cong is winning is that there has been a (BJP sponsored allegedly) communal clash in Kanpur:

Fortunately no one was killed.

News from Delhi is that voter turnout, so far at least, has been fairly low. This could indicate that the so called Modi wave is a myth at least for Delhi voters.
