He's forgetting that they are still in power at the center. They have been in power for the past 10 yrs. What were they doing all these years not arresting Modi? Doesn't that show their inefficiency?

The indian judicial system is unfortunately very slow. The case is still going on.

Doesn't the center have that much power to fast track the case, especially when the accused is the sitting CM of a state and a potential PM of the country?Rashmun wrote:Kinnera wrote:He's forgetting that they are still in power at the center. BJP is promising that after it comes to power, it's going to have spl courts to look into the criminal cases against the winning candidates. The cases are going to be fast tracked and the verdict given within a year. The convicted will be asked to step down and the acquitted asked to continue.
Couldn't congress have done the same with modi? Blaming it on the judicial system is lame. It only shows their incapability or they know that he'll be acquitted and didn't want to do it. It's just convenient to continue accusing him. The problem is, ppl are not buying it.

BJP is making false promises. Vadra is accused of obtaining land illegally in Rajasthan and there has been a BJP govt in Rajasthan for several months now. Has any fast track court been set up yet? BJP knows that if it targets Vadra than Cong will target Adani and others when it comes to power next. Like how Jayalalitha was arrested by Karunanidhi (when K'nidhi was in power ) for corruption, but when she came to power she got both K'nidhi and Maran arrested.

BJP's gpvt was sworn in in Rajastan only last december (4 months). Of course, they are going to go after Vadhra and throw him in jail. Coming to the point: Congress was in power for 10 yrs. Why didn't they do anything about the so-called criminal, Modi (esp when he's the sitting CM of a state and the projected PM of the country)? How did they allow him to continue as a CM for so long? Doesn't it show the utter inefficiency of the central govt?Rashmun wrote:Kinnera wrote:Doesn't the center have that much power to fast track the case, especially when the accused is the sitting CM of a state and a potential PM of the country?Rashmun wrote:Kinnera wrote:He's forgetting that they are still in power at the center. If Modi were guilty of any crime, he would be sitting in jail by now and out of the chief ministership in Gujarat.
Don't forget there is a totally hostile Govt. to him in the Center which would not waste a minute to get rid of him and throw him in jail if he had done anything wrong. But that has not happened for more than a decade.
Moreover, countless shitheads, inside and outside India, have been spewing anti-Modi venom and writing articles against him all this time (well over a decade), but still nothing of significance is there to get rid of him or put him in prison on any charges. The only silly outcome of the misinformation and false propaganda about Modi so far was that some countries in the West (including Britain and U.S.A. etc.) refused him the Visa to visit those places in the past, but now, after realizing that there is not much in terms of truth in the anti-Modi articles and propaganda (as also demonstrated by Indian courts' inability to convict Modi), these countries are reversing their earlier decision on the matter of visa to Modi.

Isn't 4 months a long enough time to at least set up a fast track court for Vadra if BJP is seriously interested in nailing him?
Digvijaya Singh of the Congress has given an open challenge to BJP to file an FIR against Vadra if they have the guts. BJP has not even responded to Diggy's challenge. In an earlier interview with Karan Thapar, Diggy has said that he has the dirt on relatives of many BJP leaders.
Even if favors were granted to Vadra, if u check who received greater favors --Vadra or Adani--u will find it is Modi's buddy Adani.

Look how Priyanka is responding to any criticism of Vadhra. She is beating her breasts, playing victim and trying to gain sympathy alleging that everyone is going after her family. Filing a case 4 months before elections is not a smart idea. The case may not be closed by the time of the election, and congress could play victim. Don't worry, BJP is going to go after Vadhra soon after it comes to power at the center.Rashmun wrote:

What congress is accusing Modi of are criminal charges, not some land dealings. And Modi is a leader, ruling a state and the country soon, unlike Vadhra who is nothing. And congress was at the power for 10 yrs and had all the time to go after Modi, unlike the rajastan govt which had just 4 months till now, that too right before the elections. Now, is there any justification for congress to let a so-called hardcore criminal lose for so long while allowing him to rule the people? What kind of central govt is that? And they expect ppl to bring them back to power again?
Think with your pea brain, Rashmun! THINK!
PS:got work to do.

It is possible that Cong did not handle Modi effectively but can there be any doubt that Modi is in fact guilty? Even Vajpayee wanted to sack him as CM and but for the backing of RSS and Advani , Modi would have been sent into oblivion. When Modi was being anointed PM candidate Advani had try to stop his promotion because Advani knows Modi is not fit to be PM.
The fact that u are an abusive Modi supporter shows Modi in a poor light. A politician is known by his supporters and many if not most Modi supporters tend to be abusive towards people who do not accept Modi as paramount leader.

Re: Kapil Sibal: "Clinching evidence" to arrest Modi and Amit Shah in Ishrat case
Looks like Sibal is quietly suggesting that MMS should be put in jail for 2G and Coal scams. He is just opening a door for BJP to go after MMS after the election so that he himself may have a chance to become the PM in 2021.
The fool is spitting into the wind. Nothing will happen to Modi. In fact, Gujrat voters will be more fed up with CONmen that they will give BJP all the MPs from the state and CONartists will come out completely demoralized.
If Sibal has any courage, he should advise MT and her SIL to come out clean on corruption and to confess to their crimes.
The more games that CONs play the more they will lose voter-support (including that of Muslims). It seems, CONartists are not understanding why the voters are already against them. Their Rajasthan type giveaways will only ruin the economy; the voters recognized that and soundly defeated CONmen in recent assembly election.
CONs will be marginalized as voters get educated and become wise. They can no longer keep voters in poverty and ignorance. They can't indulge in creating communal tensions for political gain without paying a price. They will eventually be taught a good lesson by educated MUSLIMS.
Chauchesku and Marie Antoinette will eventually be hanged.

Don't side track. STICK TO THE TOPIC. If they had all the evidence, why didn't the congress go after Modi all these years and get him arrested. It's not too late. It can request the EC to stall the election process now, fast track the case, present all the evidence that Sibal has and get Modi arrested. Case khatam dukaan bandh!Rashmun wrote:Kinnera wrote:Look how Priyanka is responding to any criticism of Vadhra. U think she doesn't have skeletons in her cupboard when she is known to be very close to former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi? Also, this is not about them personally. The news item says Vasundhara will be continuing Gehlot govt's schemes like free medicines for poor, etc.
