Doesn't the center have that much power to fast track the case, especially when the accused is the sitting CM of a state and a potential PM of the country?

BJP is promising that after it comes to power, it's going to have spl courts to look into the criminal cases against the winning candidates. The cases are going to be fast tracked and the verdict given within a year. The convicted will be asked to step down and the acquitted asked to continue.

Couldn't congress have done the same with modi? Blaming it on the judicial system is lame. It only shows their incapability or they know that he'll be acquitted and didn't want to do it. It's just convenient to continue accusing him. The problem is, ppl are not buying it.

BJP is making false promises. Vadra is accused of obtaining land illegally in Rajasthan and there has been a BJP govt in Rajasthan for several months now. Has any fast track court been set up yet? BJP knows that if it targets Vadra than Cong will target Adani and others when it comes to power next. Like how Jayalalitha was arrested by Karunanidhi (when K'nidhi was in power ) for corruption, but when she came to power she got both K'nidhi and Maran arrested.

BJP's gpvt was sworn in in Rajastan only last december (4 months). Of course, they are going to go after Vadhra and throw him in jail. Coming to the point: Congress was in power for 10 yrs. Why didn't they do anything about the so-called criminal, Modi (esp when he's the sitting CM of a state and the projected PM of the country)? How did they allow him to continue as a CM for so long? Doesn't it show the utter inefficiency of the central govt?

Digvijaya Singh of the Congress has given an open challenge to BJP to file an FIR against Vadra if they have the guts. BJP has not even responded to Diggy's challenge. In an earlier interview with Karan Thapar, Diggy has said that he has the dirt on relatives of many BJP leaders.

What congress is accusing Modi of are criminal charges, not some land dealings. And Modi is a leader, ruling a state and the country soon, unlike Vadhra who is nothing. And congress was at the power for 10 yrs and had all the time to go after Modi, unlike the rajastan govt which had just 4 months till now, that too right before the elections. Now, is there any justification for congress to let a so-called hardcore criminal lose for so long while allowing him to rule the people? What kind of central govt is that? And they expect ppl to bring them back to power again?

It is possible that Cong did not handle Modi effectively but can there be any doubt that Modi is in fact guilty? Even Vajpayee wanted to sack him as CM and but for the backing of RSS and Advani , Modi would have been sent into oblivion. When Modi was being anointed PM candidate Advani had try to stop his promotion because Advani knows Modi is not fit to be PM.

The fact that u are an abusive Modi supporter shows Modi in a poor light. A politician is known by his supporters and many if not most Modi supporters tend to be abusive towards people who do not accept Modi as paramount leader.
