do we need sub-forums?

please no more forums. i think we debate this and then try arriving at a consensus. i think all the existing forums should be coalesced into one. no harm in seeing tamil, telugu, hindi script threads swimming in the floatsam. we are used to these things from our old CH experience. rashmun, max, blabberwock, kayalvizhi (absent here but present in reddit)...what do you think?

hmmm, yes. i think the decision should be poll-based regardless of the discussion. but that should not seduce participants into thinking that this forum is a "democratic-nation-state" (to quote arnab from anothersubcontinent.com). not everything ought to be put to poll.

sub forums are pointless. down with them. one Coffeehouse Main is enough. however, i would like to see the subject of the post in brackets if it is not obvious. i will give you guys two more examples today.
