So Dr Narendra Dabholkar was so deep into secularism that he gave his son a muslim name . No wonder Dr Dabholkar was not popular in the hindutva brigade .

is there a new definition now in India for secularism ("separation of church and state") ... a Hindu giving his son a Muslim name?

Its an Arabic word meaning praiseworthy. Is it also "secular" to name a child Malik / Mallika?

hindus bending backwards to please muslims--that is indian secularism for you . 

separation of church and state---then why are muslims governed by islamic laws like being allowed to keep four wives and not giving alimony to divorced wife ??
