Paging Rashmun
For someone who is eloquent on every issue , you have been awfully quiet about a matter of national importance.
What is your opinion on the Sania controversy?
In your esteemed and scholarly opinion , is she an Indian or a Pakistani ?
What about Sonia ? Is she an Italian or an Indian ? ( we know you have expressed your views about this many times but is there any change recently? )
The difference of an "o" and an "a" (so/ania ) make a huge differenece ?

Sonia and Sania both claim to be Indians and as per my understanding they hold Indian passports. In the case of Sonia there was an Italian newsmagazine which had gone to interview her and when the journalist started asking questions in Italian she stopped him and told him that the interview must be conducted in english.
So both Sonia and Sania are Indians and there should be no controversy on this issue.

OK. So marriage doesn't matter. Only the passport matters. Got it.
Buf if a journalist asks Sania a question in Urdu, she should refuse to talk in Urdu and tell him to conduct the interview in Shuddh Hindi, right ? But unfortunately she knows neither hindi (not the urdu variety) and telugu ( the official language of Telangana). So we have to use a different criteria then ?
And if passport is the criterion , what about the Kashmiri separatists ? They hold the Indian passport but consider themselves as Pakistanis/Kashmiris .

colloquial hindi and colloquial urdu are the same language with very little difference. it is like telling a villager in UP who speaks Awadhi or Bhojpuri (hindi dialects) that why is he not speaking Shuddh hindi?

So the criterion of not speaking in a language of the country that one is born in , cannot be really used here . Right?
And also see the edited portion of my previous post.
