Hyderabad: Post bifurcation, property transactions in residual Andhra Pradesh has witnessed a 28 per cent growth, reveals the revenue collection figures. Andhra Pradesh Stamps and Registration collected revenue of Rs 270.41 crore in June, 2014, as against Rs 185.81 crore in June, 2013.

In June, the stamps & registration revenue collection for Guntur and Vijayawada touched Rs 67.45 crore and Rs 53.93 crore respectively.

However, Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy district which forms Greater Hyderabad turned to be the biggest revenue collectors through the stamps and registration not only in Telangana, but also the combined state put together. Revenues in Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts in June 2014 touched Rs 270 crore and Rs 115 crore respectively.
